Philippians 3:4-14 - What I have Done, What God has Done - Pastor Blake

Our prayer focus for this week is:
Anchorage Korean United Methodist Church
Won Jea Keum, Pastor

God, we thank you for guiding our Korean church until this day. We trust that you will continue to guide us. Though we are a small immigrant church, we have trusted your leading, like those who came before us in faith, and put down roots in faith and in life. We remember the Alaska Native peoples who have lived on this land for generations and continue to live here today. We also remember the many immigrants whose journeys may not be fully recorded, but whose lives and labor have helped build communities here. Teach us to speak words that honor one another’s lives and bless one another. Lead us in the way of mutual respect, welcome, and unity.

For many years, members of our Korean community and immigrants from many places have put down roots here. Amid different languages and cultures, we have grown alongside our neighbors, sending out shoots, flowering, and bearing fruit. Lord, let our lives be a blessing to this land. May the faith we pass on to the next generation bear fruit, so that people everywhere may share in your goodness.

As a mustard seed grows into a tree where birds find a place among its branches, may all your creation find peace and freedom in your care. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Henry Taiula, Pastor

Gracious and loving God,

We thank You for the gift of every day. Thank You for Your grace that carries us, Your love that surrounds us, and Your blessings that sustain us.

Bless our Conference, our bishops, pastors, laity, churches, and ministries. Give us wisdom to lead, courage to serve, and hearts that remain faithful to Your calling.

Guide us to be a people who make disciples of Jesus Christ and share Your love with our communities and the world. Strengthen our unity, renew our vision, and help us serve with humility and joy.

May Your Holy Spirit continue to lead our Conference, and may everything we do bring glory and honor to Your name.

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray.
Amen
