Join us Sunday, July 26 from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. for a parish pool party at the Bacon Aquatic Center in Cherokee! Concession stand will be open. Bring the whole family for a free evening of swimming.

We are having a Car Show at Immaculate Conception in Cherokee on Sunday, August 9. If you have a classic car, motorcycle or tractor, you can drive it to Mass at 10:30 a.m. and the parking lot will be reserved for the classics. If you are not attending Mass, then come at 11:30 a.m. There will be good food at reasonable prices. There is no cost to attend or show a car. Please bring your family and friends and join us for this fun event.

Michelle Wilson, a member of Immaculate Conception in Cherokee is starting a prayer group called Seven Sisters Apostolate. It consists of seven women who commit to praying one Holy Hour a week on a specific day.The Holy Hour can be prayed at anytime on their specific day and in any Catholic church.
She currently has Friday, Saturday or Sunday open as of now. In addition, she does have substitutes lined up.
The Holy Hour is prayed for Fr Dan Rupp. She was wondering if anyone at Our Lady of Good Counsel might be interested in learning more about this. She would be happy to reach out to them if there is an interest.
There are few pamphlets on a table in the back or for more information visit the website : Seven Sisters Apostolate. Also,there are no meetings involved.

OLGC is still seeking a new custodian. Our long time custodian, Lynette will be retiring and her last day is May 28. The position is open and offers flexible hours, approximately 8-10 hours a week. If you are interested or know someone, or a team of people who may want to work together, please reach out to Fr. Dan or the office,as soon as possible. Thank you.
