*BIG ANNOUNCEMENT and SERVICE SCHEDULE UPDATE*

Dear Saints of St. John's,

Moriah and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our son early this morning! Both Moriah and baby are doing well, and we are so excited to introduce him to you. We are also thankful to the congregation's leaders who have given me paternity leave to devote purposeful time to caring for my family.

Because of this, the Divine Service on Sunday, August 23 will be held at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Booher visiting to preach and celebrate the Lord's Supper. There will be no Bible Class this Sunday. Thank you to Pastor Booher for offering his time and service!

Thanks be to God for His many blessings. God willing, we will bring our son to the life-giving waters of Holy Baptism on August 30 and celebrate the richness of His grace as He calls another child to be His own by the washing of the new birth in the Holy Spirit.
