Ash Wednesday Service Tonight

We will observe Ash Wednesday tonight. We will gather around the tables in fellowship hall at 6:00 p.m., for supper and fellowship (Bring your own meal).

The Ash Wednesday service will be in our sanctuary at 6:30 p.m. This is a very special tradition in which we prepare for Easter. Ashes are used to make the sign of the cross on the foreheads of all attending church family. Pastor Dwight and Nathan Horton will be sharing the gospel message as we remember, receive (the gospel), and repent.

Please join us for this very special service!

Word of God Sunday

Tomorrow we observe our annual ‘Word of God’ Sunday. Join us on February 8th as we celebrate God’s Word and present our annual Bible Study awards.

Nathan Horton will preach, and our choir will lead the congregation in praise and worship. Additionally, we will dedicate and bless the work of our Keenagers and the newly remodeled student and Sunday school areas. Our Bible study begins at 10:00 a.m., and services commence at 10:50 a.m.

Following the service, we invite you to join us for a special tour to bless and dedicate the work of our Keenagers and our newly remodeled student and Sunday School areas. Bring your family and friends and join our celebration! See you tomorrow!

Important COR Sunday News!

Tomorrow ( Feb 1), is our annual “Celebrating Our Recovery” Sunday. Rev. Lisa Holmes, COR Pastor, will be with us, along with special speakers from our COR ministry. Lisa had planned a special service to highlight the miracles God is doing through COR. Bring a dish for our luncheon which will immediately follow worship.

This Sunday is our opportunity and privilege to support COR through the special offering we will take at the end of the service. This offering helps to support our COR ministry throughout the year.

We know the weather will be cold outside, but inside we will be warm and comfortable. Please do your best to attend this special occasion and to show your love and support for this special ministry.

The service begins at 10:50 a.m., and the bring a dish luncheon will immediately follow worship and will be held in our fellowship Hall.

Treasured Tradition!
Our turkey shoot this year was a great success! Thanks to all who came out to participate! We exceeded 20 rounds. Special thanks to our men and ladies groups who took care of setup, food, and cleanup. Prizes and fellowship were amazing!

Join us tomorrow, October 26, for our annual Homecoming Sunday. The day begins with Bible Study at 10 a.m., followed by worship at 10:50 a.m.

Our theme this year is “A Walk Down Memory Lane.”

We’ll hear our church history as well as hear from several of our members about their treasured memories as members of our church. As always, we will honor those members who are now with our Lord in Heaven.

Our choir will sing special music. Jimmy Martin will present our message. Following worship, we’ll all enjoy a “bring a dish” luncheon in fellowship hall.

Bring your family and invite your friends! We’re looking forward to a great day of celebration and worship!

There aren’t enough words to express our appreciation for the success and participation in our recent “Rock the Church” event.

Our goal was to get outside the walls of our church and spread the good news of Christ to our community. Mission accomplished. Thank you Father!

There is a long list of names; people with servant hearts who gave unselfishly to make our event a reality.

Thanks to our choir who sang our favorite songs from their hearts. Thank you to our counselors who were ready to pray with and answer questions for all who came forward. Thank you Jesse Priest for the fantastic music and powerful testimony. Thank you to all who set up our stage and those who made it beautiful. Thank you to everyone who attended and your prayers for revival!

Our goal is to build “Rock the Church” each year to the point where we will need a stadium for all attending; and for many churches to join us in a non-denominational presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Begin praying now for next year’s event!

Christ’s love and message were shared, and in so doing we experienced immeasurable joy! To God be the glory!
