LUTHERANS FOR LIFE
As you know we have a local pregnancy crisis center. Every year the beginning of October they have a Love First fundraising dinner gala. I was able to attend this event this year. It was very uplifting being in a room with over a hundred people celebrating life. The priest who emceed the event was very entertaining and the food was good but the best part had to be the testimonies individual people gave. One woman who had an abortion many years ago bravely talked about it for the first time in public at last year’s gala. She then attended a group after abortion retreat and talked this year about the benefits she received during the retreat and her thankfulness of the monetary support she received from someone at last year’s gala to pay for her attendance at the retreat. We had a past client who had an unexpected first pregnancy, tell us about the support she received and the baby now young man she brought into the world. She now has two other children and donates to the clinic as she is able to pay it forward. There was also a father who came to talk to thank everyone for the assistance he received with his babies. Very heartwarming. Trinity is going to have a fundraiser for the month of November to collect cleaning supplies or money for the purchase of cleaning supplies to donate to the pregnancy crisis center. These products are not usually covered by any type of assistance and are essential for healthy babies. Do not forget to do good and share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Revelation 14:6–7

And he said with a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.”

EPISTLE
Romans 3:19–28

Now we know that whatever the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God. For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.

But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it — the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith. For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law.

Matthew 11:12–19

Our Lunch Bunch this month was at Stonewood Grill. We were pleased that of the 18 that attended the lunch that Pastor Frentz and Vickie and guests were among the group. It is always a great opportunity for us to enjoy great food and lively conversations.

We are so thankful and excited to welcome Pastor Steven Frentz to the Trinity family. On Sunday, October 18, 2026, Rev. Greg Le Sieur installed him as our new pastor, and it was a joyful, Spirit-filled celebration. An installation dinner was served after the ceremony. We're grateful for his heart for God and for people, and we can't wait to see what God will do in this new season together. Welcome, Pastor Frentz and Vickie!! Praise God!!

Happy Down Syndrome Awareness Month
Dr. Venerable Jerome Lejeune (b1926) was a French physician (1952) and a world renowned geneticist. He cared for “my little patients “ (children with Down syndrome) with dignity in an era of shame. In 1958, he discovered the extra copy of the 21st chromosome which he named Trisomy 21. The cause of Down syndrome. He wanted to find a cure. He was devastated when a prenatal test was developed to detect Trisomy 21. Knowing that this would be detrimental to his career, in 1969 during an award ceremony speech he told his colleagues that using medical technology for death would “ entirely change medicine itself.” He was ostracized by the scientific community. He however, was admired by pro-life and the Catholic scientific circles as an expert defending the dignity of the human person. He relied on his catholic faith and taught his children to “judge the act and not the person.” He died Easter Sunday 1994 without finding a cure. His family started a foundation and there are numerous international clinics dedicated to Down syndrome. Now prenatal screening for Down syndrome is routine and leads to many of these babies being aborted. Most of the medical issues associated with Down syndrome are treatable. These children are truly special and made in God’s image.

LUTHERANS FOR LIFE
Have you ever heard the saying: Give them an inch and they will take a mile? Abortion started as only in r**e, in**st and mother’s health. In the US alone in 2025 we had over a million and worldwide seventy three million.
Legalize ma*****na for medical purposes. We now have pot shops within walking distance of each other. No medical card needed. Have you seen the latest news?
The Netherlands has confirmed they just euthanized a one year old. Yes, the baby had severe disabilities including brain damage, cerebral palsy and intractable epilepsy. But a one year old? The Netherlands was the first country in the world to legalize voluntary euthanasia. It started with adults, moved to twelve or older and finally in 2024, one year or older. All this just from April 2002. Yes, you have to get two doctors to agree you have unbearable or hopeless suffering with no prospect of improvement. Parental consent needed up to age fifteen. But they are not alone. Belgium also has no age limit. Switzerland, Luxembourg, Australia, Austria, Germany, Canada, New Zealand, Spain, Columbia and Uruguay have some form of euthanasia and/or assisted su***de. By the way, we have eleven states and the District of Columbia who have “Death with Dignity”. You have to self-administer the medication, but Montana has doctor assisted. Is this following in the Bible? Are we not created in the image and likeness of God our creator? Genesis 1:27. Genesis 9:6.
