Most spiritual practices are easy when we're thinking about people we love.

This one asks a little more of us.

Take a moment today to think of someone who has challenged, frustrated, or irritated you—and simply send them love.

Not because their behavior is okay.

But because love has the power to heal what judgment never can.

What would change if you became more intentional about the thoughts you allow to shape your life?

Join Rev. Cynthia Alice Anderson as we begin our June series, Free Your Mind, with this week's message, Take Charge of Your Thoughts. In a world filled with distractions, misinformation, and competing voices, spiritual growth requires us to become conscious stewards of our thinking.

Through prayer, meditation, music, and practical spiritual insight, we'll explore how our thoughts influence our experience and how focusing our minds on God can lead to greater peace, clarity, healing, and freedom.

Whether you're joining us in person or online, we welcome you to worship, learn, and grow with us.

The most meaningful acts of generosity rarely come from obligation.

They come from love.

When we live from purpose, gratitude, and connection to something greater than ourselves, giving becomes less about what we have to do and more about what we genuinely want to share.

That's a very different way of living.

One of the greatest gifts we can offer another person is a place where they don't have to pretend.

A place where they can be honest.
A place where they can heal.
A place where they know they'll be loved, not judged.

That's the kind of community we're called to create—not only inside church walls, but everywhere we go.

Have you ever noticed how differently a room feels depending on the energy someone brings into it?

Before Cynthia walks into a meeting, a store, a gathering, or even a conversation, she often takes a moment to set an intention.

Why?

Because our energy arrives before we do.

The attitude we carry, the thoughts we hold, and the presence we bring have a ripple effect on the people around us.

What kind of energy are you bringing into your day today?

✨ Bring a friend. Pull up a chair. Stay awhile.

This Sunday we’re continuing our Free Your Mind series and celebrating Pot Luck Sunday after service.

No matter where someone is on their spiritual journey, they’re welcome here.

Come for inspiration.
Stay for community.
And maybe introduce someone new to both.

❤️ There’s always room at the table for one more.

Everyone wants your attention.

But not everything deserves your mind.

✨ This Sunday we begin Free Your Mind—a new series exploring how we can release fear-based thinking, reconnect with truth, and move into greater peace, healing, and wholeness.

Maybe the freedom you’re looking for starts within.

✨ You are sacred.
✨ You are holy.
✨ You are divine.

Before the world told you who to be…
before fear, comparison, and self-doubt…

This was already true.

May this reminder find you exactly when you need it.

Some spiritual lessons don't arrive through books, sermons, or certainty.

Sometimes they arrive through love.
Through loss.
Through the people who change us forever.

In this clip, Cynthia shares the deeply personal story of her nephew's illness and the experience that transformed her understanding of prayer, faith, and the presence of God.

A new space. A new energy. ✨

There was something special about hearing the music fill the sanctuary again this Sunday.

Josh Anderson joined the band on violin for an uplifting arrangement of Canon in D, and the whole room seemed to come alive.

Feeling grateful for this beautiful space and the community that fills it. What do you think of our new sacred space?
