Join us tomorrow night for our next Theology Thursday session at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Center.

We welcome Patrick Sabat, Program Director of the World Apostolate of Fatima USA, for a Scripture-based and Christ-centered presentation exploring the role of Mary in God's plan of salvation. The engaging talk traces the biblical portrait of Mary from Genesis to Revelation and explains how authentic Marian devotion flows from Sacred Scripture and always leads us closer to Jesus Christ.

Drawing from both the Old and New Testaments, participants will discover Mary as the New Eve, the Ark of the Covenant, the Mother of God, and the Mother of the Church. The presentation also examines how the Church understands private revelation, including Marian apparitions--particularly Fatima--not as additions to the Gospel, but as call to live the Gospel more faithfully in our own time.

Also featuring the historic and original International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima, sculpted in 1947 by Jose Thedim of Portugal under the guidance of Sister Lucia of Fatima. The statue has traveled to more than 100 countries carrying the message of prayer, peace, and conversion to millions of people around the world. Blessed by the Bishop of Leiria-Fatima and later by Pope Pius XII, the statue continues its worldwide mission as a symbol of hope, devotion, and Our Lady's call to prayer and repentance under the auspices of the World Apostolate of Fatima, USA - Our Lady's Blue Army.

Theology Thursday is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus St. Thomas Council #1347 and the St. Bridget Stewardship Committee.

We are living in the time of Pentecost.

Jesus promised that he would send us an advocate, a comforter, His own Holy Spirit. At Pentecost, the Apostles received the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and were emboldened to bring the story and love of Jesus to people who didn't know Him.

Today, we are infused with the same Holy Spirit to bring the love of Christ to people who think they already know Him and have rejected Him. Lord, remove any obstacles in our minds and hearts that prevent us from living lives entirely motivated only by your love!
