Please Pray for Kaʻū 🙏

Our hearts and prayers are with the people of Kaʻū as they face the devastation and hardships brought by Hurricane Lala.

We pray especially for the families who have been affected, those who have suffered damage or loss, our first responders, and everyone working to help our communities recover.

May God grant strength to those who are weary, comfort to those who are hurting, protection to those serving others, and hope to all those facing the difficult days ahead.

Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.

Please keep Kaʻū and all those affected by Hurricane Lala in your prayers. 🙏

Divine Liturgy Schedule Update

Due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Lala and the immediate needs of the communities in Kaʻū, our Divine Liturgy will be canceled on Sunday, August 23, with the possibility of additional cancellations in the weeks ahead.

Fr. Tūlua serves as pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nā‘ālehu and Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Pāhala, in addition to ministering to our Byzantine Catholic community. During this difficult time, his presence and ministry are especially needed as these communities respond to the impacts of the hurricane.

We will share updates regarding future Divine Liturgies as more information becomes available.

Please join us in praying for Fr. Tūlua, all those affected by Hurricane Lala, and the communities working together to recover. 🙏
