This past Sunday, our senior Pastor Robby gave a powerful message on divorce and the Bible and he reminded us that Jesus is making all things news depsite our past mistakes. So your brokenness is not beyond redemption. We must acknowledge our sin, receive Christ's freely given forgiveness, and start honoring God from right where we are.

Nobody has ever been argued into heaven by an angry comment section. 😅 If the way we live is pushing people AWAY from Jesus, that's a problem. The gospel is offensive enough on its own, don't let YOUR personality be the reason someone walks away.

Sincerity is not the same as truth.

Peter believed Jesus was the Messiah, but he still tried to redirect Him.

We can do the same when we want Jesus as Savior, but resist Him as Lord.

A sincere heart can still lead us astray when it is not surrendered to truth.

Am I following Jesus, or asking Jesus to follow me?

Surrender isn't scary when you trust the One you're surrendering to. 🙌 Open hands before God means letting go of your marriage, your plans, your future and trusting that His hands are good. Are you holding on with a clenched fist?
