Two years ago, we began dreaming about what God could do through the Worship Ministry at TCC. The direction He gave us was clear: our worship through music would overflow into acts of justice and mercy in our neighborhoods. This worship night is an intentional step in that direction.

Together, we’ll spend time in Micah 6, asking “What does it look like to bow before the Lord?” Here, we’re reminded that His invitation to worship looks like doing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with Him. Throughout the evening, we’ll move between music and intercessory prayer for people in our community, our region, and our world.

Come with a heart ready to respond — in prayer, in song, and in obedience — that His Kingdom would come and His will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Unfiltered. Just a Sunday morning at TCC.

Voices in the lobby, kids at check-in, the smell of coffee you can almost catch through the screen, a room settling into worship, and a word being preached over people who needed to hear it.

The rustle of it. The weight of what's on those pages meeting the stillness of people who actually want to be shaped by it.

We don't just want to read the Word. We want to be infused with it, steeping in it until our lives start to reflect the One it points to.

The building is just a building. What fills it is something else entirely.

When we see each other, we are encountering the Imago Dei — the Image of God. And the most special thing the Lord is doing in our church is always in and through our people. It's not a program, and it never has been. It's people showing up and finding God already in the room, present in His body.

We are the dwelling place of God. Not the four walls of the building. The people.

Four weeks and four conversations we don't always have in church. But... four conversations we, the church, desperately need to be having.

We covered all kinds of things: the meaning and mystery of marriage, what it looks like to be a godly husband, a godly wife, and yes — s*x in a godly marriage.

But none of it was presented as a checklist to white-knuckle your way through. Instead, every week pointed to the same thing — that what God calls us to in marriage isn't achievable on our own. It's an invitation to draw close to Him and let His Spirit do what we can't.

We just wrapped four weeks on marriage. And we didn't stay in the shallow end.
In the middle of it, we turned to this song.
Down on my face. Under the weight. All I can say is — You are holy.
Proskuneo — the Greek word used in the New Testament when referring to worship — means to bow low. To kiss the ground before someone greater. That's what this song is. That's what getting low actually looks like.
There's something about taking that posture that makes room for God to do what only He can do. This was true in our series. It's true in a marriage. It's true whenever we stop pretending we have it together.
He doesn't wait for us to have it together. That's the good news. And getting low is where it starts.

We Are Grateful, Lord
First and foremost, we thank You, Lord. You are moving in our midst, even when we are unaware. You provide for us. You protect us. You pursue us. Thank you for loving us so well.

Marriages
Lord, You have seen fit to use our marriages to reveal Yourself to this world. We also know, that we have an enemy that is hell-bent to destroy this beautiful union. Please protect our marriages. Heal rifts and divides. Unite our families. Help us to lay down our desires and to submit to Christ. Please help us serve our spouse and model the love that You, Jesus, have for us, Your church. The enemy has been defeated, and we choose to walk in Your victory.

Future Home - Inspection
Lord, we pray for our upcoming inspection — please help it go well so we can get occupancy & use that space for your glory.

Gan Sabra - Permanent Housing
We trust you, Lord, to provide the funds necessary to grant them shelter and ask that you would quicken the process.

Lord, we pray that these families would feel seen, known, appreciated, and cared for.
