🚗 Decorate your trunk.
🍬 Bring enough candy to survive the stampede.
🏆 And remember—there’s a PRIZE for the BEST TRUNK.
So yes, this is a church event.
Yes, we love one another.
And yes, we are absolutely judging your trunk. 😇

Grace United Methodist Church is having our annual Lord's Acre Dinner and Auction this Saturday, October 24th located in our Fellowship Hall.

A freewill donation dinner will be served featuring smoked pulled pork or smoked chicken.

Dinner will start at 5pm and the Auction will follow.

The purpose of this dinner and auction is to obtain funds for our general church expenses for the following year. Our general fund is how we continue our involvement with our community involvement.

Below are a few of the items we have to be auctioned off.

We are still collecting donated items to be auctioned off at our Lord's Acre Dinner. If you would like to donate to a good cause, please drop off donations at the church office Monday-Friday 9:30am to 2:30pm or just bring them when you come on on Saturday.

We hope to see you October 24th for plenty of fun and fellowship!

Join us for fun and fellowship!
We will be serving a freewill donations meal that includes smoked pulled pork or smoked chicken! There will be plenty of fun items to be auctioned off! It is sure to be a good time.

It is almost giving season and what a way to start it out!
Salem Church hosted a hygiene and household products drive for Baby Grace's upcoming Harvest Blessings Dinner and Blessings Table. They donated over 114 products and raised a little over $300! We cannot say thank your congregation enough! WOW!

During this event registered Baby Grace families will be served a full Thanksgiving Meal followed by the opportunity to shop our Blessings table. Our Blessings table helps get families through the Holiday season by providing their monthly need for household items, it can free up money to help with higher bills, two major holidays , and unexpected time off during inclement weather, this helps ease the stress for our families during a time of uncertainty.

We are so grateful for Salem working with us to ensure we have enough products to hand out! What a blessing it is to have two churches that work together to better our community

Remember the good old-fashioned church potluck?

We’re bringing it back—with one small twist:

Bring Your Own… pretty much everything.

✅Something to share

✅Appetite

✅Favorite people to sit with—or come meet some new ones!

We’ll put all the food together, pull up some chairs, and enjoy Sunday dinner around the table as a church family.❤️

There’s no committee. No elaborate planning. No tablecloths. No decorating. No fuss. No muss.🚫

And when dinner is over, we’ll each wash up what we brought, clean up after ourselves, and pitch in to reset the Fellowship Hall for Monday.

The food doesn’t have to be fancy.
Bring a casserole. Bring sandwiches. Bring a bucket of chicken. Bring cookies. Bring something from the grocery store. Bring whatever you have to share.

Because this really isn’t about the food.

It’s about the table.

A little more time to talk.
A little more time to laugh.
A little more time to know one another.

Come as you are. Bring what you have. Share the table.

Baby Grace is gearing up for our Books, Blankets, and Pizza party this Saturday at 5pm!
We will kick off by having pizza and juice or water during story time told by 3 of of our team members. After story time each child will get to pick our a brand new book, a brand new blanket, a brand new winter coat, and a brand new winter outfit! We are so grateful to be able to add two more additional items with this event. Special thanks to donations from our community.

Donations can still be dropped off anytime Thursday and Friday 9:30am-2:30pm

A huge thank you to our congregation for your donation of books and blankets for our next Baby Grace event coming up this Saturday! We appreciate all the support to continue our monthly Free community events!
No registration is required but a heads up would be appreciated so we can ensure we do have enough to go around. Call today to let us know you'll be there 660-584-2211. We are still accepting donations and they can be dropped off at the office Mon-Fri 9:30am-2:30pm and 9am- 5pm on Wednesday during Baby Grace hours.
