A big, big thanks to all those who prepared food and served at Calvary Rescue Mission in Memphis last night! So many of you do so much behind the scenes! Back pack blessing Sunday
Today, Tyler Bryant, Allison Rakestraw, and Coach Mike Hearn encouraged and challenged our students, teachers, and school personnel to carry the “Light of Christ” into our schools this year. Then, we prayed over the backpacks! What a blessing to come together to pray for our community schools!

Matthew 5:14–16
“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”
