Most of the pressure we carry comes from one simple lie:
“I own this.”

My time. My money. My life. My future.

But Jesus flips that in Luke 12, He doesn’t call us owners. He calls us managers.

And managers don’t carry the weight of control… they carry the responsibility of faithfulness.

That shift changes everything.

I wrote a devotional on it: “𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀.”undefined
Take a moment to read it and reflect.

Who you spend time with shapes the direction of your life.

The right people will challenge you when you’re drifting.
Encourage you when you’re tired.
And tell you the truth even when it’s uncomfortable.

Not everybody in your circle is helping you grow.

Some people feed excuses.
Some feed doubt.
And some quietly pull you away from the person God is calling you to become.

Choose people who:
★ Push you toward purpose
★ Celebrate your growth
★ Hold you accountable
★ Speak life, not negativity
★ Make you better, not bitter

Because your environment matters more than most people realize.

Build your circle with intention.
Your future depends on it.

When things fall apart, faith doesn’t panic.
It pauses and says:

“God is doing something I can’t fully see yet.”

That’s not weakness.
That’s not pretending everything is okay.

That’s trust.

Trust that closed doors can still protect you.
Trust that delays can still prepare you.
Trust that even painful seasons can still produce purpose.

Sometimes God removes what’s comfortable to lead you toward what’s necessary.

So keep praying.
Keep believing.
And keep walking forward even when the path doesn’t make sense yet.

Faith isn’t having all the answers.
It’s knowing Who does.

Rest isn’t laziness.
It’s wisdom built into creation.

Even God rested on the seventh day.
Not because He was tired… but because He was setting a rhythm.

A pattern. A principle. A permission slip.

Because if the Creator of everything can pause with purpose—so can you.

Rest is where strength gets rebuilt.
Where clarity comes back online.
Where what’s heavy gets realigned.

And here’s the truth most people miss:
If you refuse to rest, you don’t become stronger… you become slower in disguise.

So take your day of rest seriously.
Not as an interruption to your success—but as part of how it’s built.

Because what you build in the other six days gets better when the seventh day is honored.

Work hard.
Build bold.
But don’t forget to pause on purpose.

You are seen.

Even when you feel invisible. Even when it seems like nobody notices.

God sees every quiet sacrifice, every long night, every brave step you took when you were terrified.

You are seen.

Your story isn’t finished.

The chapter you’re in right now—the one that feels messy, uncertain, and heavy—still has purpose in it.

It’s not the end of the book. It’s the part where strength is being built, even when you can’t see it yet.

Don’t stop here.

Keep going. Keep believing. Keep reading your story all the way through.

Some of the most powerful prayers I’ve ever prayed didn’t come with polished words or perfect timing.

Just three words.

“God, help me.”

That’s it.

No theology degree required. No eloquent speech. No pressure to sound spiritual enough.

Just raw honesty. A quiet surrender. And the simple belief that someone is actually listening when everything feels like it’s falling apart.

And He is.

Not always in the way I expected. Not always on my timeline. But always present. Always aware. Always working in ways I don’t fully see in the moment.

Sometimes strength doesn’t look like having the right words.

Sometimes it looks like having just enough faith to whisper three.

There are moments in life where logic packs its bags and leaves the room… and faith is the only one still standing there.

I’ve seen things shift that no strategy could fix. Doors open that no networking, no timing, no “perfect plan” could explain. Just faith. Quiet, stubborn, unshakable faith.

And here’s the part we keep overthinking:

You were never asked to figure it all out.

You were asked to believe.

Not because it always makes sense in the moment, but because God has a way of moving things that human effort simply can’t reach.

So if you’re stuck staring at a situation right now, trying to reverse engineer a miracle, stop for a second.

You don’t need the full blueprint. You need trust.

Faith doesn’t always show you the “how.”
It just keeps you walking when “how” hasn’t shown up yet.

And somehow, that’s when things start moving.

Some gave their lives for our freedom. One gave His life for our eternity.

This 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage reminds us that true love is often demonstrated through sacrifice.

Jesus said, "𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴: 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘰𝘯𝘦'𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘯𝘦'𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴." (𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯 15:13)

Today, we remember those who laid down their lives for the freedoms we enjoy, and we thank God for the Savior who laid down His life so we could have eternal hope.

As we gather with family and friends, may we never take either gift for granted.

Praying for comfort for the families of our fallen heroes and gratitude in the hearts of all who call this nation home. 🇺🇸

We work hard. We sacrifice. We build.

And before long, we start calling it mine.

But Psalm 50 reminds us of a powerful truth:

Everything belongs to God.

Your business. Your resources. Your influence. Your opportunities.

We are not owners—we are stewards.

The question isn't how much you're willing to give.

The question is whether you're living like God is the Owner.

📖 Read this week's devotional, Everything Belongs to God, and be challenged to hold it loosely, lead it well, and trust the One who owns it all.
