The Hill-Hernando Baptist Church Family

The Hill-Hernando Baptist Church Family The Hill-Hernando Church Family is a fellowship of believers dedicated to service after the benediction. God's love is shining on the Hill! God bless!

Welcome to the official Hill-Hernando Church Family Facebook destination page! Greetings in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ! It gives us great joy to extend words of welcome and introduction to our Church Family. The Hill is a church family that believes that the preaching and teaching of the Word of God still transforms lives. Whether in morning worship, community outreach, or just plain fell

owship, the Word of God can be found in the center of what we do. We’re a little different on the Hill. We don’t view ourselves as members of a church but part of a church family. There’s a difference between the two. While membership “has its privileges,” being part of a family has its commitment to love and care for one another. We see ourselves as being blessed to have two families: one by blood and one by the Holy Spirit. Our motto underscores our commitment to family and service: “We Are a Fellowship of Believers Dedicated to Service after the Benediction.” We worship on Sundays, but we serve God all through the week. We hope this guide helps us all grow closer in our fellowship and guide us as we grow more like Jesus every day. Your Pastor and Lady Elect

✨ The Minors’ Daily Reflection
🤍 The Power of Worship Together
📌 Quote of the Day:
“Worship is stronger when voices rise together.” —M.O.M.
📜 Scripture:
“Oh magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.” —Psalm 34:3 (KJV)
📖 Story
A congregation in Charlotte held an outdoor worship service each summer.
Families brought lawn chairs, children played in the grass, and neighbors who had never attended church wandered over to listen.
One year, during a simple hymn, a woman who had been struggling with depression began to cry.
She later said, “Hearing all those voices around me reminded me that I wasn’t alone.”
The community didn’t know her story, but their worship became her lifeline.
✨ Reflection
Worship is personal, but it is also communal.
When we gather with others, our faith is strengthened, our burdens feel lighter, and our hope grows deeper.
God meets us individually—but He also moves powerfully when His people come together.
Worship unites hearts, lifts spirits, and reminds us that we belong to something bigger than ourselves.
🛐 Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the gift of worship and the strength of community. Meet us as we gather in Your name. Amen.
💪 Challenge:
Invite someone to worship with you this week—online or in person.

✨ The Minors’ Daily Reflection
🤍 The Courage to Rest
📌 Quote of the Day:
“Rest is not a reward—it is a responsibility.” —M.O.M.
📜 Scripture:
“He makes me lie down in green pastures…” —Psalm 23:2 (NIV)
📖 Story
A CEO in Chicago prided herself on productivity—long hours, constant travel, endless meetings.
After a health scare, her doctor told her, “Your body is whispering now. If you don’t listen, it will start shouting.”
She reluctantly took a weekend off, then a full week.
During that time, she rediscovered simple joys—sleeping in, reading, walking by the lake, cooking meals at home.
She said, “I didn’t realize how exhausted I was until I finally stopped.”
Rest became her new act of courage.
✨ Reflection
Rest is not laziness—it is stewardship.
God designed our bodies, minds, and spirits to need renewal.
When we rest, we honor the limits God lovingly built into us.
Rest restores clarity, creativity, and emotional balance.
Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is stop.
🛐 Prayer:
Lord, teach me to rest without guilt and to honor the rhythms You created for my life. Amen.
💪 Challenge:
Schedule one hour of intentional rest today—no work, no tasks, no pressure.
