Weekend Recap at New Bethel Church!

What a beautiful and busy weekend of worship, fellowship, celebration—and most importantly, Kingdom impact!

We rejoice because one soul was saved, one was delivered from affliction, and another joined the church! To God be all the glory!

On Sunday morning, we gathered at New Bethel for a great Sunday School lesson followed by a powerful time of praise and worship. We were blessed by the preached Word from Minister Rodney Barnes, entitled “Make Sure He Really Knows You,” from Mark 7:21–23. The message reminded us of the importance of making sure our relationship with God is genuine—not simply saying that we know Him, but truly being born again and living as those whom He has accepted into His family.

Later that afternoon, we traveled to Adamsville, Tennessee, to worship and celebrate with Pastor Edward Perry during his 27th Pre-Pastoral Anniversary. Pastor Dalton delivered an encouraging Word from Lamentations 3:21–23 entitled, “There Is No Failure in God!” What a powerful reminder that God is faithful, His mercies are new every morning, and there is absolutely no failure in Him!

Then on Saturday, we were honored to celebrate 41 years of pastoral service with Pastor Alonza Green and First Lady Harriet Green of Fountain of Life Ministries. What a wonderful evening of celebration and appreciation for faithful leadership and service to the Kingdom!

It was certainly a busy weekend, but we enjoyed every opportunity to fellowship, worship, and celebrate with fellow believers.

What an awesome time our men had in fellowship with other men at the Fountain of Life Men's conference. They were encouraged, equipped, and blessed with valuable lessons to grow by and further the kingdom.

Our New Bethel youth, along with our wonderful adult chaperones, enjoyed a fun-filled day at Discovery Park in Union City! From exploring to laughing and spending time together, it was a day filled making great memories.

We’re grateful for opportunities to fellowship and simply enjoy being together! 🙌🏽 Join us tomorrow as we celebrate our Annual Youth Day with our special guest Pastor James Jones and the Forerunner Baptist Church Family! Service time is 2:00pm.

Sunday Recap:

What a blessed and impactful day in the house of the Lord!

This morning, Pastor Dalton Jackson brought a powerful message entitled “The Need for Self-Examination” from II Corinthians 13:5a, challenging us to consistently examine our hearts and lives to ensure we align with the will of God. As we grow in Christ, our lives should reflect more of His (Jesus) image and less of our own.

We also rejoiced as Sis. Zoe Kirkpatrick publicly declared her faith through baptism. We rejoice along with heaven’s angels as another soul is added to the Kingdom! We concluded our morning celebration by recognizing our July birthdays.

This afternoon, we were honored to fellowship with Gospel Rock Holiness Church as they celebrated their 27th Church Anniversary.

Pastor Jackson shared the Word from Ephesians 4:16, challenging us to consider an important question: Are we meeting production? True Kingdom success is not measured by how busy a church is or by the size of its congregation, but by whether we as disciples of Christ are growing in spiritual maturity and going forth to make disciples of others. Healthy churches produce transformed lives that reflect Christ.

We are grateful to Pastor Raymond Barnes and the Gospel Rock Holiness Church family for their warm hospitality, wonderful meal, heartfelt worship, and sweet fellowship. To God be the Glory for all the wonderful things He has done.
