Fridays at 6:30PM-Central Church - Sunrise Mountain (open share groups only) We want you to know that Celebrate Recovery is a place where it’s okay to not be okay. God’s radical grace provides not only a way out of the mess but healing in the midst of it. No matter what you’re facing and no matter what you’re going through, we’re committed to navigating through the tough stuff with you. We meet every Tuesday night at Central Church Henderson:

How’s your heart?

Sometimes we need to pause long enough to be honest about what’s really going on inside.

A HEART Check isn’t about judgment or condemnation. It’s an opportunity to slow down, process what we’re carrying, and bring it honestly before God.

What we don’t process can begin to fester. But we were never meant to carry everything alone.

Today, take a moment to check your heart. Whatever you find there, give it to God. Let Him meet you in the places that feel heavy, weary, or unsettled.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28

Pause. Check your heart. Give it to God.

Thoughtful Thursday 🧠

A healthy garden needs more than just water. Sometimes it needs pruning. Sometimes the weeds need to be pulled.
Recovery can be much the same.

Resentment.
Bitterness.
People-pleasing.
Negative self-talk.
Old lies.

They can take up space where healthy growth is meant to happen.

Healing isn’t just about planting something new. It’s also about releasing what no longer belongs.

Try this today:
Take a quiet moment and ask yourself, “What thought, habit, or attitude has been taking up space in my heart?”

Then give God permission to help you recognize it, release it, and make room for something healthier.

Sometimes growth begins with letting go.

Shame can be loud.
It tells us we’re too much, too broken, too far gone, or simply too difficult to love.
But shame is not the voice of recovery.
And it is not the voice of God.

Conviction calls us toward growth.
Shame attacks identity.
Learning the difference matters.

When shame starts talking, pause before you believe it.
Ask yourself:
“Is this helping me heal, or is this trying to make me hide?”

Some days, freedom looks like telling your Sponsor exactly what shame said.
Some days, it looks like trading “I am bad” for “I am growing.”
Some days, it means accepting grace before you believe you deserve it.
