Journey Church - Henderson NV

Life is a journey. Don't walk it alone. Connect with God, connect with others. Come as you are, and check out our next gathering! See you this Sunday at 1PM.

www.journeynv.com Established October of 2011 in Henderson, Nevada by Pastor Jeremy and his wife Erin, The Journey Church is an exciting, culturally relevant and safe place for anyone to embark on and take positive, consistent steps forward in their 'journey' with Jesus Christ.

The last three weekends have been incredible as we walk through our current series at Journey Church, called ‘I Get It Now’.

Pastor Jeremy has been shedding light on principles vital to our walk with the Lord that maybe aren’t the easiest to grasp when we first hear them.

For instance - it might not be that God is actually saying “Because I Said So”, but instead He may be truly whispering “Because I Love You So”.

If you’ve missed one of these great messages you can go catch them online!

We invite you to join us this weekend as Pastor Jeremy speaks on The Good Shepherd! 🐑 🖤

This is the day. 🖤

The day everything can change.

The day strangers become friends.

The day God meets you in your brokenness because you took a single step of faith.

People you’ve never met have prayed for you before you walked in the door.

People you’ve never met are waiting to carry your burdens with you.

People you’ve never met have cleaned, made coffee, and readied a whole building - just for you.

Because we believe in today and all that God plans for it when we gather together in worship and Word.

No matter what happened before this moment - this is the day.

Come and take that step of faith with us! You’ll be so glad you did! 🖤🙌🏻

Sundays @ 1PM

*NO GATHERING*

This Sunday is Fifth Sunday Family Day!

Once a quarter when there are five Sundays in a month we corporately take it as a family day, a day of true rest and sabbath.

On this day our families travel, stay home and unplug, they gather for a meal with other Journey friends, they spend quality time with those they love.

While we all truly miss our time together on Fifth Sunday Family Day - it's healthy to catch our breath once in a while in a world where MOST people barely stop to enjoy true rest. In a world where MOST pastors and ministry staff are working both for the church and a secular job and family time must be cherished.

We encourage you to spend this day not working down a huge to do list if possible, but instead to spend time resting, laughing, and loving.

We will see you all again next Sunday, September 6th at 1 PM 🖤.

Jesus is calling.

Will you answer?

Maybe you didn’t wake up today with your mind staying on Jesus.

Maybe you woke up with worries of tomorrow on your mind.

Maybe you woke up with heaviness from yesterday still weighing on you.

In the middle of it all - Jesus is calling.

He’s calling you into relationship with Himself.

He’s calling you to a life where you don’t have to carry all of your burdens alone.

He’s calling you into joy, peace, and rest - even in amidst the turmoil of your life.

Jesus is calling.

Will you answer?

If you’re looking for perfection - this is not the church for you.

If you’re looking for squeaky clean, plastic smiles - this is not the church for you.

If you’re looking for a room full of people that look like they’ve been saved forever - this is not the church for you.

BUT…

If you’re looking for a place that the powerful presence of God Almighty visits - this is the church for you!

If you’re looking for a place where people will love you no matter your past (or present!) - this is the church for you!

If you’re looking for a place where real life change happens - this is the church for you!

If this is what you’ve been longing for - come and worship with us today at 1PM! You’ll be forever glad you did! 🖤🙌🏻

Church. It’s not a place you go. It’s a family you belong to day in and day out.

The Body of Christ. Loving one another. Bearing one another’s burdens. Encouraging one another to good works. Praying for one another. Showing up for one another.

We were created to live in community.

Have you found yours yet? 🖤

We invite you to worship with us today!

Come and experience the presence of God with a truly loving family of God!

Yesterday we took a look at one of the most powerful and sobering stories in the Bible.

David was a man after God's own heart, but one series of small compromises nearly destroyed everything he had built.

Our biggest failures often begin with seemingly small decisions.

But God still offers forgiveness, healing, and restoration no matter how far we've drifted.

If you've ever felt stuck, compromised, or far from God's best for your life - know that He is waiting for you to turn towards Him and, as Pastor Jeremy reminded us, the sooner the better! 🙌🏻
