🎉 Sunday School is BACK!

Ms. Karen and Ms. Carrie are home from their summer travels — and Sunday School is up and running again! A huge thank-you to Ms. Kathleen and Ms. Theresa for leading this summer's Sunday School Camp (sounds like the kids had a blast!), and to Bob for readying our brand-new Sunday School space out back.

Here's what to know:
📖 Lessons every Sunday during the 10:00 service
🚪 We meet the kids at the side door by the tech room — out back in the portable. Just follow the laughter!
🎈 Full Kick-Off Sunday — September 6! Come tour our new digs. We'd love to have you.

Two easy ways to help:
🙋 Substitute teachers needed — see Karen to sign up for a training session.
🎁 Supply donations welcome — wet/Clorox wipes, tissues, hand sanitizer, glue sticks, paper plates & napkins, individually wrapped snacks, and small water bottles or Capri Suns. (We could also use curtains for the new space — see Karen for measurements!)

Thank you, Karen and Carrie, for pouring into our children with such love. We can't wait to see everyone! 💛

🩸 35 units. 175% of our goal. Absolutely incredible.

On Tuesday, August 18, St. Timothy's hosted an American Red Cross blood drive — and our congregation and our community showed up in a big way.

Our goal was 20 units. Together, we delivered 35 — including 7 Power Red donations and 16 first-time donors (that's 44% of everyone who gave!). There were so many walk-ins that the Red Cross team actually ran out of supplies.

In their own words:

"…we were able to collect 35 units of blood on our goal to collect 20 — 175% of goal; ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE & MIRACULOUS!!!! … Our team raved about how supportive and engaged your congregation, as well as the community, was."

Every unit collected can help save lives — that's the real miracle here.

A heartfelt thank-you to the many members and neighbors who rolled up their sleeves. This is what it looks like when a church opens its doors to serve.

And to the first-time guest who told us, "I've lived in Henderson for 17 years and passed this church a thousand times and never come inside — it's really nice in here!" — you're always welcome. Come back anytime. 💛

🕊️ What Makes This Sunday Special
Our Bishop presides. A bishop's visitation is one of the great celebrations in the life of a parish — a visible sign of our connection to the wider Church, all the way back to the apostles.

Twelve of our own step forward. Through Confirmation, Reception, and Reaffirmation, twelve members will publicly claim their place in the household of God. Come surround them with your prayers and your presence.

We celebrate together. Stay after the service for cake and coffee — because a day like this calls for it. 🎂
