Green Plain Church Of Christ We subscribe to no human creed or confession of faith. We are determined to speak where the Bible speaks and respect the silence of our God (1 Peter 4:11).

The Green Plain church of Christ consists of people who are striving to follow the divine pattern of the New Testament for the terms of entrance, organization, worship and mission of the original church of Christ. It is our desire to call Bible things by Bible names and do Bible things in Bible ways. Our goal is to teach original New Testament Christianity without the encumbrances of the religious

doctrines originated by men and embraced by the majority of so-called “Christian religions.” Therefore we accept the New Testament of Jesus Christ as our only rule of faith and practice.

The fall session of the Green Plain School of Biblical Studies begins tonight, Sept. 22, and continues each consecutive Monday through Nov. 10th. Our teachers for these in-depth studies are Eli Sales, who will present lessons from the book of Jude, and John Sales, who will present studies from the book of Amos. These two men are faithful gospel preachers, and we are sure you will enjoy and proft from their hours of preparation. We will meet from 7:00 to 9:00 pm each evening with a break between classes. Notebooks, pens, pencils will be provided as well as outlines of the lessons presented. We look forward to having you join us in these studies from God's Holy Word.

Due to several members of the congregation suffering from Covid & Flu, the elders have decided to have only one worship service tomorrow (Feb. 23rd) which is scheduled for 11:00 am. There will be no regular afternoon service. Let's pray for our sick and that all may soon be back to good health.

The Fall Session of the Green Plain School of Biblical Studies begins tonight - 7-9 pm in the annex at the Green Plain church of Christ. We will meet each consecutive Monday through November 5th. Larry Powers will be teaching the Parables and Jonnie Hutchison will present a study on the book of Hebrews. There will be a break between classes to enjoy refreshments. These classes are designed to increase our knowledge of the Bible and to help each one who attends to grow spiritually. Everyone is welcome to attend. Outlines, notebooks, pencils and paper will be provided. We hope to see you there tonight at 7:00 pm.

Please accept our invitation to attend a series of Gospel Meetings at the Green Plain church of Christ, September 8-12 with John Sales. The theme of this meeting is taken from 1 Timothy 4:15, "Meditate upon these things." John will present lessons "Concerning Things that Matter." These lessons will include the following: The Bible Matters; Jesus Matters; Eternity Matters; The Gospel Matters; The Church Matters; Worship Matters; and Holiness Matters. We believe all who hear these messages will benefit greatly. Sunday services will be at 10:00 am; 10:45 am and 7:30 pm. Monday through Thursday we will meet at 7:00 pm. Please come and join us!
