Every year around the Christmas season we have the Lottie Moon offering. 100% of this offering supports overseas missionaries. Lottie's story is an interesting and humbling one that is definitely worth looking up!

🗓 On This Date 🗓 September 1, 1873—Lottie Moon sailed for China.

At 32 years old, she had been appointed by the Foreign Mission Board (now IMB) just weeks earlier. She sailed for Tengchow, China, and for the next 39 years she called China home—sharing the gospel, serving the people, and leaving a lasting legacy of missions.

Today—153 years later—her faithful witness continues to inspire through the ongoing work of IMB and WMU, all to the glory of God. 🌎✝️
