Finally we made it to Day 8, everyone and God is good!

Overview below:

You'll tell people about this week. The work. The laughter. The hard moments. The way God showed up.

Here’s the thing to watch for: It's easy to let the trip become a souvenir. Something you pull off the shelf when someone asks, "How was El Salvador?"

Then life comes back. Routines. Distractions. Old habits. Then slowly, the week starts to feel like it happened to someone else. Don't let that happen!

Colossians 2 says: Rooted. Built up. Strengthened. Overflowing with thankfulness.

That's not a one-week thing. That's a daily decision.

The mission field isn't just where the plane landed. It's your classroom. Your lunch table. Your living room. Your job. Take the roots home with you. "Live in Him, rooted and built up in Him." - Colossians 2:6–7

The trip is over. The mission isn't. We are blessed to be back in the states again and proud of what this team has achieved on this mission.

Once again thank you supporters and donors who made this trip even possible. We are grateful and thankful that the Lord is working through all his children.

Amen.

The trip is ending. But the story isn't.
It's tempting to pack up early, mentally, emotionally, spiritually.

God isn't finished with what He started here. Not in these people. Not in our team. Not in you either.

Philippians 1:6 doesn't say "God will finish His work by the time you board the plane." It says He will carry it to completion full stop. No deadline. No departure gate.

So stay in the room a little longer. Look around at who's still here. Remember what you don't want to forget.

This isn't the end. It's a comma, NOT a period.

"He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion." — Philippians 1:6

The mission keeps going. So do you.

Day 6, and this week has stretched us.

Physically. Emotionally. Very spiritually too.

Long days. Unexpected moments. Maybe even a hard conversation or two.

But here's what we're learning: growth doesn't happen in comfort. It happens in the stretch.

That means God isn't wasting any of it. Not the tired afternoons. Not the moments you wanted to quit.

He's using all of it to grow something meaningful in you. So don't run from the stretch. Let it do its work.

"Suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." — Romans 5:3–4

Day 5, and the midweek hits different.

You're tired. Emotions are closer to the surface. But here's the thing the mission didn't pause!

We're still showing up. Still serving. Still choosing to love the people in front of us, even when it's not easy.

As a group, we're learning to stop chasing our own comfort and start chasing what God actually wants to do in us, through us, and sometimes in spite of us.

John 13 reminds us: Jesus didn't serve when it felt good. He served because it was right and He told us to do the same.

So today, we lock in. Not for applause. Not for a perfect day. But because God is still working, and we don't want to miss it.

"I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you." — John 13:15

Let's finish strong. Together.

Day 4 in El Salvador. The newness has worn off. The work is still hard. And honestly? We're all a little tired.

But Jesus didn't call us to convenience. He called us to kneel.

1 Corinthians 12 says no one is unnecessary!

That's our model. Not strength. Not performance. Humility.

Tonight we're resetting our hearts. We're not here to be comfortable. We're here to serve like Him.

Day 3, update from El Salvador 🇸🇻

Today was our first real workday, and honestly? It was very humbling.

Sweated through our shirts. Learned how to communicate without words and understand. We also saw what happens when faith stops talking and starts walking.

James 1:22 says, “Don’t just listen to the “Word”, do what it says.

So that's what we're trying to do. One brick. One prayer. One moment at a time.

Keep praying for us. This is faith that moves. 🙌

Same God. One family. 🌍✝️

Today in El Salvador, we worshipped alongside brothers and sisters we’ve never met! It’s a different language, different songs, different traditions. But the same Spirit moved in all of us.

Psalm 117 says it best: “Praise the Lord, all you nations!”

The Church isn't divided. It's global. And it's truly a beautiful thing.😌

Hey friends and family, we made it to El Salvador 🇸🇻 safely!

Day 1 is teaching us that courage isn’t the absence of fear, it’s trusting the One who promises to be with us.

Would you pray for us as we step into this week? For strength, humility, and open hearts.

“For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.” – Philippians 2:13 ✨
