Prayers to the family and loved ones of Fr Gillespie and to the parishioners of St Mary Parish in Woolmarket

Father Martin Gillespie, pastor of St. Mary Parish in Woolmarket, died unexpectedly this morning. Father Gillespie served as a priest of the Diocese of Biloxi for 26 years. We give thanks to God for his priestly ministry. Please keep the Gillespie family and the St. Mary Parish family in your prayers.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

May the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

This week our older kids were challenged to build bridges with straws and gum drops and learned how Jesus Christ is the "bridge" between humanity's sinfulness and eternal life with the Father.
