🏥✨ THERE WAS PURPOSE IN THE TOUCH! ✨🏥

This past Sunday at The House of Refuge (THoR), Prophetess Jessica Scott brought forth a powerful word from Mark 5:26–34 — “There Is Purpose in the Touch.” 🙌🏾

The woman with the issue of blood had suffered for years, but she believed that if she could just reach Jesus, her situation could change. She pressed through the crowd, reached out in faith, and one touch changed everything! ❤️‍🩹

Her touch wasn’t ordinary—it was a touch of faith, desperation, expectation, and purpose. What others couldn’t fix, Jesus healed. 🙏🏾

✨ Your faith can still reach Him.
✨ Your situation is not beyond His power.
✨ There is PURPOSE in the touch!

🙌🏾 WHAT A WORD! 🙌🏾

The House of Refuge (THoR) thanks everyone who joined us this past Sunday as Apostle Tony Fairley delivered a powerful message:

🖤 “A Raggedy Life, But Loved by God”
📖 Romans 8:35–39

Life may leave us with some raggedy places—wounds, mistakes, disappointments, struggles, and seasons that don’t look pretty. But one thing remains unchanged: GOD STILL LOVES US! 💜

Romans 8 reminded us that no hardship, trouble, failure, circumstance, or season of life has the power to separate us from the love of God. We may have been bruised, stretched, worn down, or counted out, but we were never abandoned by God.

✨ Your life doesn’t have to look perfect to be loved by God.
✨ Your past doesn’t cancel His love.
✨ Your broken places don’t disqualify you.
✨ Even when life gets raggedy, His love remains!

✨ WHO ARE YOU? ✨

This past Sunday at The House of Refuge (THoR), Senior Pastor Sandra Fairley challenged us to look beyond what we say about ourselves and examine what our lives actually reveal. 🙌🏾

📖 Matthew 7:16–20 reminded us that identity isn’t proven by a title, appearance, position, or what we tell others—it is revealed by the fruit we produce.

Just like a game of 20 Questions, you can ask all the right questions:
❓ Who do people say you are?
❓ Who do you say you are?
❓ What do your choices say about you?
❓ What does your character reveal?
❓ Most importantly… who does God say you are?

Eventually, the answers show up in the fruit. 🌱🍎

The question wasn’t simply “Who are you?” It challenged us to ask, “Does the fruit of my life match the person I claim to be?”

🙏 Sunday Recap | The House of Refuge (THoR)

This past Sunday, we were blessed by a timely and powerful Word from Apostle Tony Fairley entitled “Don’t Waste Your Wounds.”

The message challenged us to view our wounds differently. Life will bring seasons of pressure, heartbreak, disappointment, and trials, but those moments do not define our future. God has a way of sustaining us through what should have broken us, while using every painful experience to shape our character, strengthen our faith, and prepare us for His purpose.

We were reminded that what others intended to harm us, discourage us, or destroy us is never the end of the story when God is involved. He is able to redeem every scar, restore what was lost, and use our testimony to bring hope and healing to someone else. Our wounds become valuable when we allow God to work through them instead of allowing them to work against us.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this past Sunday. We pray this message continues to resonate in your heart throughout the week. May you remember that your trials are not wasted, your pain has purpose, and God’s grace is sufficient to carry you through every season.
