Father’s Day is this Sunday, June 21, and so is our Summer Sunday Cookout after the morning service. Join us as we celebrate fathers, worship the Lord together, and enjoy hot dogs and hamburgers afterward! The church is providing the meat, condiments, and buns. We ask you to please bring sides and desserts to share! There will be no evening meetings or services that night.

We are excited to share some wonderful news with our Emmanuel Baptist family! Please join us in welcoming Jack Bowman as the newest member of our church staff, serving as our Associate Pastor.
Jack is a Florence, South Carolina, native and a graduate of Bob Jones University. He has a heart for serving the Lord and looks forward to getting to know the people of Emmanuel and ministering alongside our church family.
In this new role, Jack will invest in the lives of our children and youth and their families, working closely with our faithful Children and Youth Ministry leaders to continue building strong, Christ-centered ministries for the next generation.
We are grateful for how God continues to provide for the ministry of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and we are excited to see how He will use Jack in the days ahead.
When you see Jack around campus, be sure to introduce yourself, give him a warm Emmanuel welcome, and keep him in your prayers as he begins this new chapter of ministry with us! We are thankful to have him as part of the EBC family.

Hey EBC Family!
The Summer of Freedom, America's 250th, is Sunday, June 14, at Byerly Park from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. There will be Live Music by Blackwater Band, local food & drink vendors, a fireworks show starting at 9:00 pm, and fun surprises throughout the night!
For our Summer Sunday gathering, we would like to serve our Hartsville community at this special patriotic celebration, as well as enjoy all the festivities. As part of ministering to our community, we would like to give out free water to anyone who needs it. If you are able, please donate one case or more of bottled water. Our goal is to take 2,000 bottles.
If you are willing to help as a volunteer in any of the following, please sign up by today, June 10, by 1:00 pm so we can give the city a definite number coming from Emmanuel. https://ebconline.com/signup
- Guide parking
- Handing out giveaway items provided by the city
- Bathroom/portapotty attendant (security measure, not cleaning)
- Give out water
- Offer to pray with people
Please feel free to bring a comfortable chair and any means of staying cool, as well as your church shirt. Volunteers will work in shifts. More information coming soon.

Our VBS dates are July 6 - July 10, 2026, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm everyday. Journey through Ireland in Emerald Crossing, where Psalm 23 comes to life! Kids will explore God as Shepherd, Guide, Comforter, Provider, and King through David’s story, hands-on activities, and apologetics. From Donegal....

The campers are on their way to Longridge! 🎉 Continue to pray for these young people and their Camp Leaders, for safe travels and a week full of fun and unforgettable memories, and that they will learn more about Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him.
