We always have an amazing time in the Lord at Salvation Temple Apostolic Church. This Sunday all those headed back to school were blessed with brand new bookbags full of school supplies and numerous nice gifts. The scholars were reminded just how extraordinarily special they are to God as the apple of His eye and encouraged to stay focused on their assignments. Life itself is a classroom and they are steadily learning as an ongoing process. They were all asked specifically what they desire to achieve during this successful school year, took plenty of beautiful pictures, and made a deeper commitment to choose gladness daily. We truly believe that God will help each and everyone of them to pass their grade level with flying colors and to earn more deserving awards. Let us continue to keep all students in our most sincere thoughts and prayers.

What a wonderful Father's Day Celebration to remember. It was awesome to see so many mighty men of valor praising and worshipping God together. Every father in attendance was able to receive very nice gifts from both the Church and the McElveen family in loving memory of our Founders. Bishop Wright delivered a powerful sermon entitled: "Gentle Men," wherein they were admonished to pray fervently for God to keep them on a successful path wherein fatherhood remains a lifestyle that embodies gentleness, grace, and much kindness. The ladies definitely rose to the ocassion with special gifts to the men and special presentations to Bishop Wright. The ladies also served an absolutely delicious meal for all to enjoy. The Lord is doing a great work at Salvation Temple!

We always have an amazing time in the Lord at Salvation Temple Apostolic Church. On June 12th, there was a beautiful ceremony in recognition of some of our "Award Winning" next generation youth and young adults. Bishop Wright encouraged them to stay excited about what God has in store for them next and to be sure to
serve, grow, and evolve wherever God places them. There was also a very special moment as everyone celebrated with the first recipient of the new "George and Sara McElveen Scholarship Fund." Ms. Cherish Agbo plans to attend S.C. State University in the fall.
