Good afternoon everyone. Unfortunately we will not be able to have kids classes tomorrow night! We will have Babies and Toddlers ONLY. 3 year olds through 6th grade will need to stay with their parents. The old kids hall is being painted and the classrooms are being worked on to try to finish them for core groups Wednesday, September 2.
We encourage you to bring your kids to the sanctuary to play “stump the pastor” for Q&A. 😁 Pastor Heath says he is ready! Kids ask the best questions!❤️

Good afternoon everyone. I have an important announcement for all parents of Woodland kids. 🥳
We will be having kids classes babies through sixth grade starting this Sunday. Babies and toddlers will still be in the baby room at the front of the church. Three years old through sixth grade will be in the classrooms down the old hallway in the old building until we are able to be in the new building.
The old classrooms are being worked on. So it will be very bare. But we will be doing a lesson and having some fun and possibly going outside if weather permits. We are ready to get back to normal and teach and love on our Woodland Kids again.
Also, Bible Buddies will be starting soon. Bible buddy adoption day will be Sunday, August 30 in the foyer of the old building. We are very excited!
If you have any like new stuffed animals that you would like to donate, we will be happy to take them off your hands!❤️

HAPPY EASTER! Woodland Kids celebrated by having an Empty Tomb hunt! They were so precious gathering their treats (although it was cold). Parents would have been very proud of their kids sharing and helping each other out. Then they went back to their rooms to see what they got. One child from each class who found the Empty Tomb although they were sad it was empty the joy on their face came when they got to trade their empty tomb for the big prize. It was a great visual lesson to go with today’s Bible story…
After His arrest, Jesus was led away and put on trial by religious and political officials. Even though He had done nothing wrong, Jesus was beaten, mocked, and sentenced to die on the cross. Jesus was crucified in between two thieves. One made fun of Him. After Jesus died, He was buried in a tomb. When some of His followers returned on the first day of the week, they were shocked to find an empty tomb. Angels said, "He is not here! He is risen!" Jesus defeated death! 🙌 Hallelujah!!!
