N-Sid-Sen Camp & Retreat Center N-Sid-Sen is a church camp and retreat center owned and operated by the Pacific NW Conference of The United Church of Christ.

N-Sid-Sen is a year-round camp and retreat center located on the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene in northern Idaho. The name comes from a phrase of the Coeur d’Alene native people meaning “Point of Inspiration”. This incredibly beautiful site includes 270 acres and almost a mile of shore line. October 15-18, 2026
Come join us on the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene where you can sew, knit, weave, crochet and chat with other folk from across the NW. Work on a craft or project, enjoy delicious meals or go for a leisurely stroll. Work on any project you like, there will be a group quilting project, demonstrations and some teaching as well.

We begin on Thursday the 15th of October at 4 pm and close at 2 pm on Sunday October 18th after lunch.

In this position, you will work with the Director of N-Sid-Sen. The position will be focusing on Culinary and food service, responsible for meal prep, and some summer kitchen staff management.

This is a year-round position with possible housing included.
$20-25 hour based on experience

N-Sid-Sen Kid's Camp Director

Hello Everyone! I am so excited for Kid's camp! My name is Kim Kotlan and I am the Director of Kids' camp this year at N-Sid-Sen. I live in Spokane Washington and have been a member of Westminster United Church of Christ since the 90s. I've held many positions there. My paid work is with the East Valley School District's ECEAP. Growing up I attended many camps, including N-Sid-Sen. Those times are some of my fondest memories. I have been a counselor and volunteer at N-Sid-Sen for many years. It has become a sacred place to me. I have no doubt that your child(ren) will fall in love with it as well. It's a place of creativity, self discovery, laughter and friendship. The memories and experiences made there are food for the soul. This is my first time as a camp Director, but lucky for me, we have the best counselors' around. This summer we will be exploring all God has to offer using the theme "Into the Wilderness." Can't wait to see you at camp!
