6PM - "Fun in the Son" and Three Six Teens activities for children and youth.
6PM - Adult Prayer Time and Bible Study.
FRIDAY 830AM - Grubb Clubb meets for breakfast at Jamie's Restaurant.
SUNDAY - FATHER'S DAY! 945AM - Age-graded Sunday School classes.
11AM - Morning Service - Message - "Who's Your Daddy?"
1115AM - Children's Church (optional for 5th grade and below.) Nursery available for younger children.
5PM - Monthly Church Business Meeting.
6PM - Evening Service - led by Brother Jim Creager and the GSBC youth.

This came up in my memories today. Still holds true.

A man saw a snake being burned to death and decided to take it out of the fire. When he did, the snake bit him, causing excruciating pain.

The man dropped the snake and the reptile fell right back into the fire. So the man grabbed a metal pole, took the snake out of the fire and saved its life.

Someone who was watching approached the man and said: “That snake bit you. Why are you still trying to save it?”

The man replied: “The nature of the snake is to bite, but that's not going to change my nature, which is to help.”

Don’t change your nature simply because someone harms you. Don’t lose your good heart, just learn to take precautions.

“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:44-45
