850 People in One Weekend… What These Students Built Will Inspire You

Nearly two weeks ago, Oklahoma Academy sophomores and staff set out on a mission—to build, present, and guide others through Messiah’s Mansion.

After a careful and detailed setup, a full-scale model of the Hebrew Tabernacle stood ready—just as it would have appeared in the wilderness.

During the very first weekend, over 850 visitors walked through this living sanctuary experience.

Each tour reveals more than history. It shows how the tabernacle was God’s way of teaching a people who had come out of slavery—helping them understand His character, His presence, and His plan.

Every symbol points forward to something greater.

A plan of salvation.
A sacrifice.
A Savior.

This is more than a display.
It’s a mission in action—students learning, serving, and sharing truth in a powerful, visual way.

Sabbath Worship Special Music | Oklahoma Academy with Messiah’s Mansion

While serving in Clinton, Missouri with Messiah’s Mansion, our Oklahoma Academy students had the opportunity to share something close to their hearts—music.

During Sabbath worship, they presented this special music as a reflection of their mission experience and their desire to serve God in every way possible.

This trip is about more than building and guiding tours—it’s about growing, serving, and sharing Christ through both action and worship.

What Academy Music Really Sounds Like 🎶

Music at Oklahoma Academy is about more than performance—it’s about purpose.

From quiet, reflective pieces to powerful full-ensemble moments, our students are learning to use their talents in a way that inspires others and honors something greater than themselves.

From Oklahoma to Texas—Music With a Mission 🎶

Our Oklahoma Academy music groups recently had the privilege of sharing a special program at several Seventh-day Adventist Churches in Texas—and what a blessing it was.

From heartfelt choir pieces to instrumental selections, our students weren’t just performing… they were ministering.

“She Fixed the Toilet… and Proved Something Bigger.”

We are so proud of our students serving at camp Wewoka Woods this week—quietly doing the kind of work that keeps everything running.

But one moment stood out.

While cleaning, the ranger told the group to leave one toilet alone—it needed repair.

Before anyone else could respond, Joye spoke up:

“I’ll fix it.”

At first, he hesitated… until she started naming the tools she needed.

That’s when he realized—she knew exactly what she was doing.

When he asked where she learned it, her answer said it all:

“At school. In our vocational program.”

She went on to replace the toilet seat herself.

Moments like this remind us—education isn’t just about knowledge.
It’s about preparing young people for real life… and real service.

The Oklahoma Academy music groups are hitting the road—and we can’t wait to share this special program with you.

This year’s spring concert, “Earthly Trials, Present Peace,” is more than music—it’s a message of hope, faith, and peace in the middle of life’s challenges.

Our Chorale, Bell Choir, and String Ensemble will be traveling across Texas this week, and we would love for you to join us at one of these locations:

Because of your generosity, students who might not otherwise have the opportunity are able to attend Oklahoma Academy, grow in their faith, and prepare for lives of service.

We are deeply grateful.

The Hiner Memorial Worthy Student Fund exists to make sure no student is turned away due to financial need. So far, $53,594 has been given toward our $150,000 goal—a powerful testimony of your kindness and belief in our mission.

At the same time, we want to be transparent: we are still behind where we need to be to fully meet the needs of our students this year.

🥇 We Thought It Was Just a Trip… Then This Happened 🇮🇹

What started as a simple senior trip turned into something none of us expected.

Just weeks before spring break, plans changed—and suddenly, we were heading to Northern Italy. But this wasn’t just sightseeing.

We traveled to the foothills of the Alps to help a family working to establish a health center and ministry in an area with very little Adventist presence. From clearing yards and cutting wood… to removing decades of debris… to helping care for children and preparing meals—we experienced what it really means to serve.

Along the way, we also:

Explored historic locations
Visited a small church with deep Adventist history
Built friendships across cultures
Saw how God can open doors in unexpected ways

This video shares the full journey—the work, the people, and the purpose behind it all.

⚠️ Note: Due to a few technical issues, this video came out later than hoped. And there are a couple of breaks in the video where transitions may feel a bit abrupt—but we hope the story still comes through clearly.
