Sometimes all it takes is the right teaching at the right moment to completely change the direction of someone’s life.

Something people do not always realize is that a dollar can go a long way. What starts as a gift here becomes Biblical training, ministry resources, and practical tools for pastors and leaders serving in places where access to those things is limited.

It is easy to think impact only comes from big moments, but a lot of meaningful change happens through simple, steady investment over time. Resources get into the hands of leaders. Leaders strengthen their churches. Churches strengthen communities. And the Gospel reaches farther than ever before!

The Democratic Republic of the Congo is home to approximately 116.5 million people. While about 95% claim Christianity, most pastors are faithfully leading churches with little access to Biblical training or ministry resources.

While there, our team will travel to four major cities to train 560 pastors how to run ministry schools using the N2N curriculum. These leaders are connected to a denomination with 2,000 churches across the DR Congo and 20,000 churches throughout Africa! The opportunity in front of us to extend the reach of the Gospel and bring education to leaders in need is extraordinary!

Recently, 1,500 pastors gathered in Kinsasha, DR Congo, to learn about N2NCU. By the end of the meeting, 300 pastors signed up for the facilitator training that our team will be holding next month. This is an incredible opportunity to bring Bible training to pastors in need across the country!

Our Tech Department has been hard at work duplicating flash drives, a key part of every trip we take. This trip to the DR Congo, we will see over 1,000 flash drives drives loaded with Years 1 and 2 of courses and student notes in French and Swahili.

These will be placed directly into the hands of the pastors we are training to serve as facilitators. Each flash drive contains everything needed to launch and run a school within their local church, allowing pastors to immediately begin training others even after the team has returned home.

Last week, we received this special photo from our team in the DR Congo! They are currently working to print 1,000 facilitator manuals, 300 resource guides, and 2,000 student workbooks in preparation for our training seminar next month!

French translation plays a critical role in reaching pastors and Christian leaders in places like the Democratic Republic of the Congo and many other French-speaking regions.

In a lot of these areas, there simply isn’t access to structured, Bible based training in their own language on a large scale. What does exist is often limited, fragmented, or difficult to access consistently.

And that matters, because language isn’t just a detail in teaching. It determines how clearly someone can understand, engage, and actually apply what they are learning in their ministry and community.

When everything is translated into French, it removes a major barrier. It allows pastors to sit in a room together and fully follow along. It gives leaders the ability to revisit teaching and build on it, rather than missing key parts because of language gaps.

It also means training can spread further, because it’s not dependent on a few people who understand another language. It becomes something whole communities can access together.

Our team has been hard at work these past years translating the entire N2N curriculum into French, and we are praising God for the fruit and impact we are seeing from it!

Projectors are a simple, yet vital part of what we do. They’re one of the main reasons training is even possible in many places throughout the developing world.

In countries such as the DR Congo, power outages are just part of everyday life. Lights go off without warning and sometimes stay off for days. In some areas, there isn’t reliable electricity at all.

Even with those challenges, training still reaches people in remote villages. Instead of relying on internet or teachers traveling long distances, a single projector can bring the full program into a local gathering. A group of pastors and leaders can sit together and go through the same teaching at the same time, right where they are.

Next month, our team is heading to the DR Congo, and we’re working to bring 100 projectors and full sets of equipment with us. We’re raising $22,500 to make that possible. If you’d like to be part of helping bring training into more remote places, we’d love for you to join us.
