On August 27th, we were blessed to have a group of Cadets from the Newport News Police Department come out and volunteer at our Newport News office. They moved furniture and supplies, and helped with the initial setup of our food pantry storage room. We extend our heartfelt thanks to these recruits for their dedication, commitment, and time. They were truly inspiring!

The Virginia Peninsula Corps and the Hampton Roads Kroc Center came together today for a combined worship service—and it was EPIC! 🙌🏾🔥

But that Labor Day–themed meal afterward? Whew! Barbecue mixed with Caribbean food and soul food had EVERYBODY praying for a wheelbarrow to carry them out! 😂🍖🍗

There was so much food, so much laughter, and such beautiful fellowship. We absolutely must do this again!

Kudos to Captain Willis and the Hampton Roads Kroc Center ministry team for creating an amazing Sunday of worship, food, family, and fellowship! ❤️🙏🏾
