Evaluations for basketball players are next week (Nov 10 and 11). Come either Monday or Tuesday any time between 5:30-8:00 for a short evaluation to help us when creating teams. Cheerleaders do not have to come to evaluations.

Closed out our Upward season today with a fun celebration. Thanks to Salt & Light Ministries Jeff Smith for entertaining us. Here’s a sample with our can-can boys.

There are 4 of us that oversee the Upward ministry, but we wouldn’t be successful without our wonderful volunteers. Thank you to those that stepped up as coaches to teach the kids not only the game of basketball or cheer routines, but also about sportsmanship, teamwork, and some of the miracles of Jesus. Thanks to refs, scorekeepers, concession workers, devotion leaders, set up and clean up crews who took time out of their Saturdays to help our game days be successful. Thanks to parents and friends for bringing kids to practices and games each week, pitching in to help where needed, and supporting the players/cheerleaders with positive attitudes.

I’ll miss hanging out with the kids and parents each week and listening to the sounds of bouncing balls, whistles, megaphones, cheers, and laughter. Hope to see you back next season! 🏀📣
