Church hurt is real.

Maybe you were judged when you needed grace.
Rejected when you needed community.
Gossiped about when you needed someone you could trust.
Or hurt by someone you respected and never expected it from.

Sometimes the deepest wounds come from people we thought were safe.

But the failures of people do not change the faithfulness of God.

You don’t have to pretend it didn’t hurt. You don’t have to carry the bitterness, anger, disappointment, or distrust forever.

Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to bring the hurt… even church hurt… and begin healing.

God is still good.
God is still trustworthy.
And your story isn’t over. 🧡

💔 REJECTION CAN LEAVE A DEEP HURT.

Maybe someone walked away.

Maybe you were made to feel like you weren’t good enough.

Maybe you were overlooked, unwanted, or left wondering, “What’s wrong with me?”

Rejection doesn’t always end when the person leaves. Sometimes we carry it with us for years… into our relationships, our decisions, and even the way we see ourselves.

But rejection does not get to define your worth.

God sees you.
God loves you.
God chose you. ❤️

Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to bring the hurts you’ve been carrying and begin finding healing and freedom.

You don’t have to carry rejection alone.

✨ CELEBRATE RECOVERY • LESSON 16: AMENDS ✨

This Sunday we’re talking about AMENDS.

Making amends is more than saying, “I’m sorry.” It’s about taking responsibility for our part, allowing God to change our hearts, and doing what we can to make things right when it is safe and appropriate.

We can’t go back and change the past, but through God’s grace, we can choose how we move forward. Amends is about humility, healing, forgiveness, and putting our recovery into action. ❤️
