Faith Formation (Grades 1-9):
Registration is on going for the 2026-27 Faith Formation year.
Thank you to the families that have turned in their Registration
forms already. If you are new to needing Faith Formation for your
children in public school, contact Sarah at the parish office at
[email protected] or check the parish website's Faith
Formation tab for the calendars and forms. Registrations are due
by September 1.
Teachers are needed for the following grades: 2, 5, 8
Aides are needed for grades 2-8

Small Groups - We are
preparing for our Fall Small
Group Study where we will be
focusing on Archbishop
Hebda's Pastoral Letter: Only
One Thing Is Necessary. We
will have 2 sessions available,
so far, to choose from. If you
would be interested in hosting
a session of this 8 week study,
beginning at the end of
September, contact Sarah at
the parish office for more
details. Registrations will begin
next week.

Because of St. Mathias's Fun Fest this Sunday, our weekend Mass schedule has changed. This change is only for this coming weekend.
Saturday, August 22 5:00pm Mass at SJB in Vermillion
Sunday, August 23 8:00am Mass at St. Mary's in New Trier (normal schedule)
Sunday, August 23 10:00am Mass at St. Mathias in Hampton

A Day with Prayer and Service -
August 27 marks one year since the Annunciation in Minneapolis church and school shooting that captured all of our attention with something none of us could begin to imagine, let alone so close to home. Archbishop Hebda is encouraging parishes and schools be in solidarity with Annunciation by marking this day with prayer and service as we both remember those involved and our call to bear the light of Christ in times of darkness. For our tri-parish community all are invited to come and pray during our regularly scheduled Thursday time of Eucharistic Adoration at St. Mathias in Hampton during the hours of 9 am to 2 pm at the Parish Office Chapel. As our act of service, all are invited to participate in food packing at Feed My Starving Children’s Eagan Center. We will provide school bus transportation to
the Eagan site that leaves at 6:15 pm, for our 7:15 pm work time, and returns back to Vermillion about 9:30 pm. To register for the food packing service project please scan the QR Code or email Sarah Nauer at [email protected] or call the parish office at 651.437.9030.
