Sunday is another busy day at FMC! The morning starts off with an opportunity to hear from John Haspels during the Sunday School hour about the work he and his family are involved with in Kenya. John is Chuck’s brother.

A fellowship opportunity will follow with a potluck immediately following Worship.

Jr. High and High School youth groups resume at 6 pm. Bring a friend!

A Women’s Bible Study will also start at 6 pm. They will be using Jen Wilkin’s “God of Deliverance” study, looking at Exodus 1-18. You still have time to grab a book on Amazon or stop in at Faith and Life to see if they still have a copy!

What a wonderful morning celebrating Christian Education at First Mennonite! We are so thankful for all the ways people lead, teach, and build Biblical knowledge throughout the year.

We dedicated our School Kits for MCC this morning during our Christian Ed Sunday Celebration.

Debbie gave us a of goal for 130 kits earlier this summer. When they were laid out yesterday, there were 100. Ten more arrived last night and another 20 this morning, bringing our grand total to 130, plus a few extra items in a box.

One week from today, we start our Wednesday Kids Club program back up! We will be digging into the book of Acts and discovering how the disciples began to fulfill the challenge Jesus gave them to spread the Gospel.

Kids ages 3 years to 6th grade are invited to join from 5-6 pm.

A meal is provided at 6 pm for anyone that wants to join.

Our Adult Bible Study will also begin next Wednesday at 6:45 pm. Casey will lead us through the study, "Horizontal Jesus," by Tony Evans. This study will help you discover how your vertical relationship with God is connected to your horizontal interactions with others.
