Holy Apostles Catholic

Holy Apostles Catholic Holy Apostles Parish is the recently merged parishes of Saint Joseph the Worker (Hanson) and Our Lady of the Lake (Halifax). Offices are in Halifax.

The two churches retain their respective names, but the new parish name is effective February 1, 2021. We dedicate ourselves to all who form our parish community, whether active or inactive, that together we may continue to grow in the discipleship of Christ Jesus.

We often think of the story of Exodus as being about freedom from slavery (and it was!), but it's important to note that the Lord really wanted his people to worship him "freely in the wilderness." That is the constant message Moses brings to Pharaoh - let my people go so they can worship me.
