Finding My Place In God’s Family: Coming Into the Father’s Embrace ❤️

I didn’t go looking for God — He came looking for me.

It started with anger after losing my dad suddenly when I was in high school. I shouted at a God I wasn’t even sure I believed in. But through the quiet love of friends, a youth group, and one church home after another, God gently drew me close.

From the North Shore to Silver Lake Chapel, He kept showing me I belonged — that I was wanted in His family. The day I walked into the Chapel and saw “Welcome Home” on the bulletin, I knew I was finally in the Father’s embrace.

If you’ve ever felt far from God or wondered if you truly belong, this story is for you. He’s still running toward His children with open arms.
