Freedom River is a ministry of ordinary people loving an extraordinary God.

Freedom River is all about drawing attention to God and encouraging people toward a relationship with Him that's real, intimate, and every day. We share God's Word in a way that's down to earth and applicable, because we want people to experience the life-changing effect it can have in their lives. We want people to know God's purpose for their life and have a sense of value and direction. Bottomline, we want to make a difference, and we believe that difference will come only through Jesus Christ. Home meetings to share God’s Word are held weekly, and messages are shared live every Sunday morning at 9:05 via our website at www.freedomriverchurch.org, Facebook, and Rumble.

On this day 19 years ago, Freedom River Church held its first official Sunday service!

The prior Sunday was a prelude to this special day - spent at the Big Biloxi River baptizing 17 people! The shouts of praise echoed down the river. You could feel God's presence so strongly, and the Sunday morning worship the following week was just as amazing.

We have been so blessed through all these years!

Though traditional Sunday services are no longer held, the ministry continues even now. Our pastor shares weekly messages thru video, and a small group still meets during the week to open the Word together - digging deep, searching for God's purpose, praying for one another, and worshipping the Lord.

Praise God for His goodness!

How can I be happy after a broken heart?
It’s interesting that the Bible never tries to explain suffering or convince us that it isn’t real. Instead, God takes His Word and teaches us how to handle it. The answer, then, becomes simple - receive the comfort of God.
