There is a big difference between the way people look at weakness and the way God looks at weakness. People have the tendency to look at weakness as a liability. God looks at weakness as an opportunity for Him to show Himself mighty in our behalf. Your weakness and God’s strength are a perfect match!

Much of our timidity in going to God with all the "bothers" of life is caused by the lack of understanding God’s heart. Moses had seen and performed more miracles than any man alive. He had seen the power of God, but he didn’t know God’s heart. God is going to give Moses a direct revelation of His heart, because Moses is struggling with his mission, his people, and himself.

Much of the resistance to what God is doing in our life is caused by our lack of understanding God’s heart. Moses had seen more miracles and performed more miracles than any man alive, but he really didn’t know God. He had seen the power of God, but he didn’t know God’s heart. Moses is still looking at God through old eyes.

The ONLY condition for grace is faith. There are two things you can do with grace: 1) You can accept it or 2) You can reject it, but you can never deserve it! You can’t be proud and walk in grace, because grace is 100% about Jesus and 0% about you.

Christianity is the only set of beliefs in the world that has the concept of a gracious, personal, loving God. Thank God that we don’t have to relate to Him based on our merit or our works. That’s what grace is all about!
