Super Bowl of Caring

We're excited to announce a Super Bowl of Caring fundraiser! On Sunday February 8th, the day of the Super Bowl, Asbury Youth will receive donations to establish our summer service and mission project budget. Every gift will go directly toward empowering our students to serve our church family through hands-on projects and mission opportunities this summer. Because of ongoing hazardous road conditions, and in correlation with the Greenwood Public schools remaining closed, all in-person activities at Asbury Church are canceled for Wednesday, January 28th. Please use caution and stay safe!

Christmas Party coming soon!

On December 14th, Asbury Youth will host a Christmas Party! We will have finger foods, desserts, games, and most importantly fellowship. We will play Dirty Santa, so if you plan to attend please bring a gift valued up to $15 dollars to participate!

You are invited to attend Friendsgiving!

The main dish will be provided, and families can volunteer to provide sides and desserts. Parents, watch the GroupMe in the upcoming days to start signing up for different sides and desserts!

Make plans to join us this Sunday evening for Hayrides and a Bonfire at the Robert’s house!

Families are encouraged to bring their kids, and transportation will be provided for the youth group. The church van will depart from the church at 5:30 p.m. and return around 8:30 p.m.

We need volunteers for the pumpkin patch! Working the pumpkin patch counts towards your child’s volunteer hours at school.

Specifically, we need volunteers for Fridays and Saturdays. You don’t have to do it all day, even a couple of hours would be a huge help.

Come to service tonight ready to discuss this weeks readings of Matthew 1-7! We hope to see you there!

Beginning Thursday, August 14th our church and youth group will be reading one chapter of the New Testament each day which will let us finish in May! We will be reading Thursday through Wednesday each week and talk about what we read throughout the week in our Wednesday service.

We invite you to join us on this journey through God’s Word and be part of our weekly discussions as we grow together in faith!
