Wonderful news for our parish! The vestry has unanimously called the Rev. Rob Brown to serve as interim rector of Christ Church, and he has accepted.

Father Rob retired in June after nearly 23 years as rector of St. Matthew’s in Spartanburg. He looks forward to guiding our parish through this interim period, and his first official Sunday with us will be November 15.

Our search for the next rector continues as planned, with the Search Committee’s work and timeline unchanged.

Please join us in warmly welcoming Father Rob and his wife, Sandra, to Christ Church!

One of our favorite Halloween traditions!

Every year, our Christ Church staff gets dressed up to welcome our Christ Church Episcopal Preschool trick-or-treaters! The little ones parade through our hallways in their adorable costumes, collecting candy and bringing lots of smiles along the way.

We love sharing our campus with these sweet children, and getting to celebrate Halloween with them is such a treat! 🍬🧡 🎃👻

A little extra love for the pets who bring us so much joy! 🐾 Earlier this month, our youth brought their family pets for a blessing from Rev. Lindy in honor of St. Francis of Assisi. We’re grateful for these beloved companions and the love they bring to our lives.

What does your Annual Giving pledge make possible at Christ Church?

Worshiping together. Gathering around the table. Welcoming voices that inspire us. Helping our children grow in faith. Giving our youth a place to belong. Serving our neighbors. Celebrating new spaces for ministry. Marking the seasons together. Finding connection and community.

This is Annual Giving.

Your pledge supports the worship, formation, fellowship, outreach and ministry that make Christ Church the community it is.

Make your 2027 Annual Giving pledge by October 18 to have it blessed during worship that Sunday.

Visit ccgsc.org/annual-giving to make your pledge.
