The purpose of the Greeters is to welcome guests and members as they are entering the church. Greeters are
important because they should give an effective first impression. Our main objective as Greeters is to make everyone feel welcome with love and appreciation.

We also have outreach components within the Greeters Ministry. They are the Spiritual Committee, Bereavement Committee and the Courtesy Committee. Finally, every December we visit the sick and shut-in. We provide them with a gift card or gift (needed items). If they are unable to receive visitors, the gift is sent to them. Rufus Timmons' gift card was sent to him. In December, we visited Pearlee Calhoun, Carmelita Hopkins, Deacon Douglas Thomas, Barabara Atchinson, Lorretta Cook, Ronald Brown, Trustee Xanthene Norris, David Francis and Deacon UJ Thompson received his gift at church. We also visited our beloved Deaconess Betty Thompson and presented her with a gift. Our members enjoyed the visits and appreciated their gifts.
