It's interesting how quickly we start questioning God's faithfulness when He stops doing things the way we expected Him to. Some of us have become so attached to our own expectations that we're actually frustrated with God for not following a plan He never agreed to.

Maybe the thing God is trying to develop in this season isn't the outcome you've been begging Him for. Maybe it's the trust you've been avoiding.

Being relatable doesn’t mean helping tear someone down because everyone else thinks it’s funny. You can be easy to talk to and still say, “That’s enough.”

👉🏼 If you’re sharing the good news of Jesus, let people see what following Him changes, including how you speak about someone who isn’t there to defend themselves.

We know what Scripture teaches about forgiveness, yet we're still punishing people for things they did years ago. We know we're supposed to love our neighbors, but we can't even speak kindly to the people in our own homes. We know pride is dangerous, yet nobody can correct us without us getting defensive.

At some point, we have to ask ourselves whether we're actually becoming more like Jesus or whether we've just learned how to sound like someone who is.

When was the last time you let God change something about you that you didn't want to let go of?

Sometimes you know what God is asking, but you’re worried about what people will think. Be honest with Him about that, and ask the Holy Spirit to help you follow through, even when it gets uncomfortable.

The people around you NEED to see what following Jesus looks like in someone they actually know.

Ever notice how one bad moment can completely change your mood for the rest of the day? You wake up feeling great, but then something goes wrong at work, someone says something that gets under your skin, or life throws you a curveball you weren't expecting.

It's easy to let those things steal our peace. But there's a difference between happiness and joy.

Happiness depends on what's happening around us, while real joy comes from knowing who we belong to.

Life won't always go the way we hoped, and some seasons are SO hard. But even on the days when everything feels like it's falling apart, we can hold onto the truth that our circumstances don't change who we are in Christ!
