Last night was such a fun night cheering on some of our Well family!

The night kicked off at the Christian School with the Junior High Eagles, with Coach Brian Hudgeons leading the way and Anthony out on the field. But this game was extra fun because on the OTHER side of the field was another one of our Well students, Levi Snyder! And of course, Ellie was there cheering them on!

I LOVE nights like this—when The Well family is represented on BOTH sides of the field! Different jerseys, different sidelines, but still our kids!

Then it was time for the JV Eagles, and we got to watch Cameron and Aiden take the field. The Eagles did such a great job, and it was a blast getting to cheer them on!

We love showing up for our students—in the stands, on the sidelines, and wherever God has placed them.

CHURCH UNDER THE TREES + BAPTISMS IN THE LAKE…WHAT A SUNDAY!

There was just something special about today at Money Lake.

Our Well family gathered under the shade trees, surrounded by God’s creation, to worship together. We opened God’s Word and were reminded of the beautiful picture of baptism—an outward, public declaration of what Jesus has done on the inside.

And then…it was time to head to the lake!

SIX PEOPLE stepped into the water and publicly followed Jesus in baptism! One by one, our Well family stood along the bank, CHEERING and CELEBRATING as each one came out of that water!

But we weren’t finished!

Several others stood before their church family to publicly say, “I’ve rededicated my life to Jesus.”

And once again…WE CHEERED!

Because when someone takes a step toward Jesus, family celebrates BIG!

Then church service ended…but FAMILY TIME was just getting started!

The grills were fired up with Ron Williams and John Trumble cooking hamburgers and hot dogs while everyone grabbed a plate, found some shade, laughed, talked and simply enjoyed being together. Meanwhile, the kids—and plenty of kids at heart—hit the lake for swimming and fun!

A HUGE thank you to Marilynn and Debbie for getting all of our food together and making sure everyone was fed, and thank you to the Money family for opening up Money Lake and allowing us to spend such a special day together.

That’s a pretty great way to spend Family 5th Sunday at The Well!

Friday Night Lights!
So much fun cheering on our Greenville Lions and ALL the students who make Friday nights great!

And Leah… 43 PUSH-UPS because the Lions put 43 on the board! Now THAT’S commitment! Way to go, Lions!

We’re taking church to MONEY LAKE! Our Well family gets to come together for a special morning of worship and celebration! After the service, we’ll head down to the lake for BAPTISMS! Several of our students AND adults are taking that next step, and we get to celebrate BIG with them!

MEET THE LIONS! !

Last night was one of those nights that reminded us just how much we LOVE watching our community come together and CHEER ON OUR STUDENTS!

But before the pep rally even started, we got a little behind-the-scenes access!

We had the opportunity to go into the football locker room with families, parents, grandparents, and some pretty important people in these players’ lives to help put the Lion stickers on their helmets before their first HOME GAME Friday night!

There were lots of laughs, a little sticker-placement pressure , and so much excitement as everyone worked together to get those helmets game-day ready! So fun!

Then it was time for MEET THE LIONS! We had our own students and adults filling the stands, and it was SO MUCH FUN watching everyone cheer as each group was announced. The band was playing , the cheerleaders were cheering ,the Flashes brought it , and every time another team came out, you could hear the crowd ERUPT as people spotted someone they knew!

But I think my favorite part came AFTER the pep rally…

Yes, we went down on the field and got autographs from OUR OWN WELL STUDENTS! You better believe we treated them like the celebrities they are!

WE HAVE WELL STUDENTS IN ALL MOST EVERYTHING!

On Wednesday nights we have Different schools. Different activities. Different team, but we are FAMILY. And family SHOWS UP. Family CHEERS LOUD.

We are so proud of our students, and we can’t wait to spend this year CHEERING YOU ON!

🏐Would we catch it?!

As the announcer introduced the Greenville Varsity girls volleyball team, one of our own Well students, senior Kenzie Scarbrough, threw her senior volleyball into the crowd. We scrambled, we fought for it…and WE CAME UP WITH THE WIN! We were pretty excited to be holding Kenzie’s volleyball! Such a fun tradition to start off the game!

But rewind a little…

Before the game, The Well got a little inside access to the Varsity girls’ locker room! We had the honor of leading their pregame devotional, praying over them, and encouraging them before they took the court.

We talked about a word volleyball players know well—SET. 🏐
“Set your minds on things above…” — Colossians 3:2
Set your mind. Set your eyes. Keep them set on Jesus.

And then we pulled out Pamela Kinney’s cookies! You should have seen their eyes! Those girls were READY to get their hands on those cookies!

Thank you, Well family, for continuing to pour into our students.

Now fast forward to the game…

Kenzie had some great blocks, hits and served that ball up! The Lady Lions fought hard, and it was a blast having some of our Well students in the stands cheering them on.
