Very excited for VBS to start tomorrow! Registration closed this week but we are excited to have 90 kids attend this year alongside our 30 daily volunteers! Thank you to everyone who has helped decorate and continue to prepare for our first day!
If you still wish to help we will continue decorating this afternoon. Additionally, our craft team has requested to borrow fabric scissors for our day 5 Craft. Please bring to Kara Lange or Rebekah Galliart if you're able to share!
Our kids will have a fun time of crafts, music, puppets, snacks, old school field games, but especially important they will be learning about one of our new missionary families and the area they are going into to serve. They will also learn of a missionary of our past Amy Carmichael who fought to protect and save the lives of little girls in India.
We will share brief recaps each day as we progress through this week with the Bible study topic on the sanctity of life! The world speaks to our kids even when they are young that they are not made with worth. That life can be discarded and that there isn’t a reason for this life. But we need our kids to understand the truth that we are made in God’s image, made with an amazing design and worth. Made for relationship with Him and made to serve and give Him all the glory!
