The Church has never been sustained by perfect people.

It's been sustained by ordinary Christians practicing patience, forgiveness, humility, and love over long periods of time.

A healthy church isn't a machine that runs perfectly.

It's a garden that must be tended, watered, and cared for.

Growth takes time.

🇺🇸 Celebrate the 4th of July in Greenleaf! 🇺🇸

We're looking forward to a full day of community, fun, food, and fireworks as we celebrate America's 250th Birthday!

🥞 Start your morning at the Greenleaf Friends Academy Pancake Breakfast from 7:30–9:45 AM. Enjoy pancakes with all the trimmings while supporting the GFA Junior and Senior Class Italy Trip.

🎉 At 10:00 AM, join the City of Greenleaf's annual 4th of July Parade! Want to participate? Parade line-up begins at City Hall at 9:00 AM. Or grab a lawn chair, bring a bag for candy, and find your favorite spot along the route to cheer on the parade.

🌭 After the parade, head over to Greenleaf Friends Church for some good, old-fashioned family fun! Enjoy bounce houses, games, a dunk tank, seeing old friends, and more on the church lawn until 1:00 PM. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be available by donation, with proceeds supporting GFC's Mexico Mission Trip.

🎆 Then come back at dusk to the GFA North Lawn for the City of Greenleaf's annual fireworks show! Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family, and friends as we close out our nation's 250th birthday celebration with an unforgettable display in the night sky.

We love being part of this incredible community and hope you'll join us for a day filled with fun, friendship, gratitude, and patriotic celebration!

Today we're celebrating the man, the myth, the youth group legend. The one who somehow has unlimited energy, survives on pizza and church events, and can turn literally any conversation into a sermon illustration. 💀

Tj, your aura is immaculate. Your ministry is goated. Your jokes are... definitely jokes. 🫡
