In the days and weeks following May 21, 2024, we experienced profound heartbreak and loss, but also extraordinary faith, compassion, and generosity.

St. John’s became a place of refuge, prayer, fellowship, and service, where neighbors and strangers alike came together to care for one another in Christ’s love. We will never forget the volunteers, first responders, churches, and countless supporters who stood beside Greenfield during those difficult days.

Today, we remember those we lost and continue to pray for all who still carry grief and hardship. We thank God for the strength and resilience of this community and trust that He continues to walk with us as we continue to rebuild and heal.

Today we recognized our graduating seniors: Caroline, Brody, Bennett, Gavin, and Kenna.
Please join us in praying for them as they begin this new chapter of life. May they stay close to God, follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and use their gifts to bring good into the world. May they walk with faith, find strength in knowing they are never alone, and always remember that God is with them wherever life leads.
A big thank you to the CCW for serving rolls and coffee after mass.
