Going home. Getting out of the cold. Hopping in a warm shower and settling onto the couch.
These everyday comforts are blessings we can so easily take for granted. For our unhoused friends, there may be no warm place waiting at the end of the day.
As winter approaches, freezing temperatures, snow, and ice can make life outside dangerous. As Christ followers, we are called to see our neighbors, recognize their worth, and love like Jesus—with compassion and action.
Please join God’s Open Arms Ministry in praying for our unhoused friends and those working to help them. If you feel led to give, we are accepting cold weather supplies:
🧦 New warm socks
🧥 Winter coats
🧤 Hats, gloves, and scarves
🛏️ Heavy blankets and winter sleeping bags
👕 Thermal tops and bottoms
🔋 Batteries
🔦 Flashlights and headlamps
🏕️ Heavy-duty waterproof tarps
🤲 Hand and foot warmers
A pair of dry socks, a warm coat, or a blanket can make a difference to someone facing another cold night.
Please pray, give if you’re able, and share this post. Let’s help our neighbors feel seen, loved, and remembered. ❤️
