SAID I WASN'T GONNA TALK ABOUT IT...

The believer—the saved-from-sin-and-restored-to-God-and-name-written-in-the-Book-of-Life believer—can’t help but talk about it! How could we never mention the greatest gift ever given to us, and by the Creator of the Universe, no less? And at the cost of His own Son?!

Which brings me back to Psalm 51, the great psalm of repentance written by David. He was desperate to be restored to God. His spiritual panic was built on the realization that his choices and sins might separate him from the Presence of God at the price of losing the Holy Spirit.

David was certain of one outcome of God’s forgiveness and healing in his life. Once it happened, there was no way he would keep that to himself. No way!

From our first gym to our Team. 🧡

He first walked through the doors of Warrior Playground when he was just 7 years old — back when we were still in our original location.

Since then, Warrior Playground has moved twice. Three different gyms, thousands of obstacles, and a whole lot of growing up — and he and his family have been part of all three chapters.

Over those years, we’ve had the privilege of watching him grow from a kid who loved ninja into one of the most talented athletes on our Team.

But what makes us especially proud isn’t just what he can do on an obstacle.

He’s an incredibly kind kid, a great teammate, and someone who represents so much of what we hope our athletes become.

This past season, he was recognized as our Most Outstanding Athlete — an award that reflects not only the phenomenal athlete he has become, but the work, growth, character and dedication that got him there.

As we celebrate 10 years of Warrior Playground, it’s pretty special to look back at the kids and families who have been along for so much of the ride.

Three locations later, we’re incredibly proud of the young man and athlete he’s become — and very grateful that he and his family have been such a lasting part of the Warrior Playground story. ❤️

GUILTY AND IN A FOG

People who study such things will tell us that when a person is carrying around unresolved, unacknowledged guilt, it can cause other problems. That person may become depressed or self-loathing. He or she may act out, behaving in ways that are unusual. Patience thins. Anger increases. Common-sense judgment, especially when it comes to the actions of others, becomes clouded.
