Redeemer Lutheran Church We worship at 10 a.m. on Sundays with Holy Communion every Sunday. Weekday office hours: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

In September, 2010, Redeemer celebrated its 50th Anniversary. Built in 1960, the original church building housed a congregation of about 185 members. By 1975 many additions had been built, expanding the sanctuary, adding classrooms, and office space. Over the years several stained glass windows and a handicap lift have been installed, the parking lot has been improved, and cosmetic improvements ha

ve been made to the interior and exterior. Led by many pastors throughout the years, Redeemer continues to serve as a faith center to its members. We welcome all who are seeking a community in which to worship and live a life in Christ.

On Maundy Thursday, we remember Christ's last meal with his disciples, but the central focus is his commandment that we love one another as he loves us.

"The Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, 'This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.'

In the same way he took the cup also, after supper, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me! For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes" (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

Today is Palm Sunday and Sunday of the Passion. “Now as [Jesus] was approaching the path down from the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the deeds of power that they had seen, saying, ‘Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest heaven!’’ (Luke 19:37-38).
