Sunday, June 07 at 9:00am in the Colby Barn or on Zoom

"Tree Hugging Dirt Worshipping Heathen"

For those who feel a sense of awe and wonder when you are outside with nature, paganism may be the path for you. Tamara will provide information on walking a pagan path and how to unlock your power and create magic all around you.

Tamara has been a member of PCUUC since 2012. She wears many hats as the chair of both Social Justice and Welcoming committees, and is a current member of the Nominating Committee. She also frequently serves as service leader and helps read the story for all ages when needed. She lives in Round Lake Park with her husband Kent and children Aiden (18) and Zach (14), she is owned by two curious cats - Shrub and Millie.

Services held in person in the Colby Barn are also available on Zoom. To join us on Zoom, please go to the WORSHIP SERVICES tab on our website and click on the blue Zoom link.

On this Memorial Day, let us be ever mindful of the high cost of war as we honor the dedication and courage of military service members and their families. I offer my deep gratitude to all who have served and are currently serving in all branches of the military.

As Unitarian Universalists work and witness for peace and justice in ourselves and in our wider world, may we continue to recognize and uplift the humanity of military service members and their families. On this day and in all the days, may you know that you are loved and not forgotten.

Democracy is more than a system of government. It is a shared promise that every person matters, every voice carries value, and our lives are bound together in collective responsibility.

But democracy does not sustain itself. It requires participation, courage, protection, and care for one another—especially in moments when fear, disinformation, voter suppression, and attacks on democratic institutions are growing in strength.

As Unitarian Universalists, we are called to help build communities grounded in dignity, safety, and collective care. UU the Vote’s weekly Democracy Defense and Community Safety Training series offers practical tools for protecting elections, responding to threats, and strengthening our communities together.

We invite you to learn more and register at UU The Vote - link in the comments below.
